I am using Canon MP 145 Print Scan and Copy. Quite good for domestic use. Good quality prints and is faster.

I am a moderate user. I am still using my first cartridge. Not sure how many I printed. But it came with free photo paper. So I might have printed atleast 10 photos and a lot of other documents. I bought it around 9 months back.

I have the HP 4283 AIO, pretty good scans, easy software. Cartridge costs are Ok. Some Rs1.3k for both (total). The ink got over in about a hundred prints....

If both the cartridge cost around 1.5K and it approx gives us 300 prints, than cost of single print would be around Rs 5/- which would be very expensive.

its not really meant for daily prints, use a laser if your going to print a lot. I used only when i needed color prints.

yea, my average will be like 15 prints a month.

Laser printer are kinda expensive and way out of my budget, the shop near my area gives Color Print for Rs 6/- so its kinda no use to bring printer if i get same cost at home.

laser printers are pretty cheap now, they start off at Rs3500. Color laser printers are expensive, starting at Rs16,000.
