Terminating Airtell Broadband connection...

    I have Airtel BB for past 6 months, and my experience with airtel broadband has been satisfactory but was very much disappointed coz their usp plans.
    Anyways, since i am re - locating from chennai and dont need this broadband anymore, i have decided to terminate the Airtel broadband connection.

    Modem was purchases by me from Airtel(have bill), and i never wanted telephone so did not get one from Airtel.
    Contacted nearly airtel centre, they told to write a request letter for termination and my rent will not be calculated from the date i surrender the letter.

    Please let me know what else i need to do for the proper way of termination to avoid any troubles in future...

    I disconnected my airtel BB connection even without submitting any letter. They gave me a request number and told me to keep it for future purposes (if in case any issues occur in the future). I hope they do not bill for me to current month; the chances are low because they have already disconnected internet and land line services.

    I was told that someone will turn up and take the phone and the modem after disconnection. They told me this when I enrolled for the services of Airtel about three years back. But no one has turned up for those instruments, yet.

    Call the customer care and have a request number and send an email also. This is what i did for disconnection.
    Got disconnected with in 7 days.

    How to call the customer care?

    I dont have landline Telehpone. Never wanted it so, didnt got is during the connection.

    How can i call the customer care now?
    Can anybody give any other alternate customer care no.

    You can use 1800 103 0121 to contact the broadband division. This number works from any land line or mobile service.

    To cancel Airtel broadband Subscription
