Am using 2 Airtel mobile numbers, one i remember and the other one i forgot :(
Forgotten number is not in the Address Book (and no where written) but i need to recharge this number with full talk time...i know a few sure ways to find my own number, i.e.,

    1) Connecting to the Phone by AT command set and playing with them.
    2) Knowing the number from the SIM card number (but don't know how it's done for Airtel).

So, comping to the point, is there any other way to find out my own number using the phone Keypad. Example: *#100# works in a foreign country.

I hate calling their customer care executives because they're charging now!

    Any info is highly appreciated.

    thank you :)

You can call a friend from a second number and your number will be displayed there on his/her mobile.

best way is to buy a recharge coupon and recharging it with it.. (try topup of Rs. 10 if available at your place) and call someone else..

i called their cust care and even they responded we cannot tell this number(just simple they cannot trust who you are)..

so try it your own self. if the number is valid, it will topped up and then you can call and check its number.. and recrging with whatever you want later..

How to Know your own number

I tried sending SMS message when I encountered the same problem. As SMS was free no need to charge or top up. Some features of Free SMS will be helpful.

Micky if he doesnt know his number, how is he supposed to get a rechrage done?????????

It would be better just calling up customer care and asking them what your number is, as when you call them your number will appear on their system.

Customer Care not at all required.

I got the number in no time.
Another way to do it is using operator-specific USSD codes.
