can we use BSNL 3G dongle connection as wifi?

    can we use bsnl 3g dongle like broadband wifi connection or in lan for multiple computers?

    you would require a USB dongle supporting wifi router. they normally support 5 simultaneous connections. however, as you increase the number of devices, there would be effect on the speed.

    There are routers which supports plugging in USB modems.

    You can also use connectify and make your PC a wifi hotspot if you have Windows 7 Home Premium and WiFi adapter. You can also make your desktop wifi hotspot by add an USB WiFi adapter (costs around Rs. 900).

    There is another way also.... Just attach BSNL USB dongle to your computer. Connect your computer ethernet LAN port to the regular Wireless router (internet port) and turn on the sharing in Network Connection in Control Panel of your computer.
