    @essbebe

i updated the firmware of my beetel 220bx adsl2+modem (am bit confused with Beetel 220BX & Beetel 220BX1 so downloaded the 220BX T28-0Q-015.img)

after updating the firmaware, the net is working ok but the speed has gone down & the blinking of the data LED on the modem is very slow too.

so decided to revert back to the old firmware i have which is T28-0q-003.img & when i try to update the firmware, i get "Fatal error during image uploading"
so cant revert back to the old firmware.

any solution if you have will be appreciated.

i dont want this latest version because as i said, after updating to this latest version the speed has gone down & the blinking of the data LED on the modem is very slow too
& this is why i want to revert back to the older firmware which i had, but now i cant update it which hasnt happened to me before.
now when i try to update the firmware, i get the error "Fatal error during image uploading".

so i am asking how to get rid of this error.

only after upgrading to this firmware that i am getting this error, i.e, this never happened to me before with any other versions of firmware. before i would update the firmware & if i didnt like it, i could easily revert back to the older version by updating the firmware again with the firmware img file which i have.
but now i cant update the firmware because i get the error "Fatal error during image uploading", which in my case will be a downgrade.

    Option 1 :
Send email to 121@airtel.in reporting the
    problem.
( no phone call to CC )
    Don't mention FW update etc.
Airtel staff will replace the unit! probaby with
Beetel 110TCI or Beetel 110BXI or Binatone without USB port.

    Option 2 :
Check snr/attn data. Uncheck ADSL2+ box in DSL page.
Also uncheck client Tr_69 in management menu.
    recheck above data.

    Option 3 :
    AT YOUR OWN RISK
You can try FW a different old version via Command mode.
details given by me with screen shots etc. Check "ARCHIVE"
    or type
    beetel 220BX Firmware essbebe
    in search box above.

    Feedback.

    thanks for the assistance.

will like to try option 2

but will appreciate if you can explain it in a bit more detail.

like i dont know what snr/attn data is & cant find it in any of the options on 192.168.1.1/main.html (no entries or sub entries).

did find ADSL2+ Enabled option in Advanced Setup---->DSL settings & it is checked

Found Tr_69 Client in Management menu. in there Inform is Disabled, Display SOAP messages on serial console is Disabled, Connection Request Authentication is checked
