Anyone else having problems accessing their broadband usage at BSNL portal?

    Since the last few days (more than a week now) I can't access my broadband usage at the BSNL portal. Log in is successful but once I proceed to check this month's current usage, it pops up a message saying "Unexpected Error Reported
    This error may prevent further successful operations. Please logout and try to login after some time. If the problem still persists, please contact System Administrator.
    Thank You !"

    Is anyone else having similar problems? Any ideas?

    Presume your portal is edc.
    CRM
    confirm.
    Use only IE8.
    Other users of above portal please confirm

    Nope, I check my usage from data.bsnl.in as I always have in the past. Has there been any change in the portal? I can't access the link you posted (selfcare.edc.bsnl.co.in).

    There is no definite info in the forum about this. for Durgapur (W.B) users.
    Metro users in Chennai( myself) Bengaluru/Kolkata have confirmed
    their usage portal as data.bsnl.in
    ( usual 14digit Id PW password default from exchange )

    Tested in Firefox/Datafox working fine now.
    If there is a change in your portal, you should get a big list in data.bsnl.in

    Try registering first with your own selected ID at edc portal. Password from BSNl in email.
    or you get Any error message ?

    Tried IE8 with no joy. Yep, the data.bsnl.in portal is working fine since I can login successfully but bb usage for current as well as past months fail with the above mentioned error. I'm using chrome datafox plugin (gives an error as well probably 'cause it can't access the data from the portal). Will wait for more response from users in this belt. Thanks anyways.

    I usually get this kind of error on sundays alone other days its all good. I am in AP though so not sure if there is any problem. Try calling BB Toll Free they could possibly give u information if there is any issue with Durapur region.

    I am using 9.0.1 Firefox.
    Datafox addon survives all Firefox updates. till now !!
    see position now. Date wise data also available.

    Update:

    So I talked to the customer care executive and I was informed that the data.bsnl.in portal is NOT updating usage details anymore and they asked me to get back to them in a couple of days to know if this portal will update usage details for bb users in the future or will they permanently move to the selfcare.edc.bsnl.co.in portal. Currently I can access my usage details from the selfcare portal (thanks to essbebe for the help). However, it seems I won't be able to use datafox again since datafox cannot access the selfcare.edu portal (works only for data.bsnl.in and selfcare.ndc portal :( ) and for my natural despise for Internet Explorer lol. Until Brian comes up with a new version of datafox for accessing the selfcare.edu portal and updating it for chrome users as well (too much work :p), I'll stick to using Networx and occassional venture to the selfcare portal on IE ugghh.

    Well,i sometimes face this error.But generally i can open the usage page smoothly.

    If you can check in selfcare portal,
    data.bsnl.in with old usage portalid may not work for youin future.

    Datafox author could not get userid/pw for the selfcare portals to modify the application. Also restriction using IE ONLY and Dynapro.

    I got frustated by the same problem and now after losing hope i am using Networx. :)

    There is many a times a lot of lag between actual usage and selfcare.bsnl site updation. Many a times more than 24hours

    If u just registered with this portal wait for 24 hrs after that u can seen your BB usage. IF problem persist contact your local exchange TTA or SDE.

    @essbebe: You were right! I can no longer use the data.bsnl.in portal. I am sticking with Networx and DU meter to keep track of my BB usage and occasionally usning the selfcare.edc portal. Sorry for the late reply.

    check this link. this site working normal.
    No idea from which selfcare portal the data has been obtained.
    Probably eastern region Kolkata edc.
